With over five years experience of successful fundraising and project management in documentary film and campaigning, Jahlia has a strong background in environmental, gender and social justice issues. She is responsible for fundraising for We Are Many, overseeing research and bid-writing and helped to coordinate our successful crowdfunding Kickstarter campaign.
She has previously worked with charities Amnesty International, Greenpeace, The Women’s Resource Centre and was a driving force in managing the Global Premiere of climate change documentary The Age of Stupid.
Originally from California, Jahlia has lived in London for seven years. She holds a Bachelors degree in Media Studies from Pitzer College, Los Angeles and a Masters Degree in Gender from the London School of Economics. Jahlia is a member of Women in Film and Television.
