I’ve been going on anti-war demos since I was in my pushchair – my parents were on the very first Aldermaston march. But this one felt like no other; I met people on the march who told me they had never been on a demonstration before, but they felt so strongly that they had to tell the Government that this was wrong. I also wandered into a café and by total chance was reunited with an old friend from University that I hadn’t seen in almost 20 years, both of us still fighting for the same causes ….
