My 17-year old daughter and I marched from the Embankment to Hyde Park that day. I had been on several anti-war marches in my time, including those against the Vietnam war in the 1960’s. But this was my daughter’s first national demonstration, and I was moved by her and her friends’ awareness and anger directed towards Blair and those wanting to take us to war. The millions of us represented several generations of those concerned to speak out.
